چکیده
We present a comprehensive theory of the Dyakonov-Shur (DS) plasma instability in current-biased graphene transistors. Using hydrodynamic approach, we derive equations describing DS two-dimensional electron fluid at arbitrary values drift velocity. These nonlinear together with Maxwell's are used for numerical analysis spatial and temporal evolution system after is triggered by random current fluctuations. analyze conditions necessary onset properties final stationary state system. demonstrate that results coherent anharmonic oscillatory calculate both distribution power electromagnetic radiation generated transistor regime.

A new universal theory for flow instability and turbulent transition is proposed in this study. Flow instability and turbulence transition have been challenging subjects for fluid dynamics for a century. The critical condition of turbulent transition from theory and experiments differs largely from each other for Poiseuille flows. This enigma has not been clarified so far owing to the difficult...

Graphene based optical devices are highly recommended and interested for integrated optical circuits. As a main component of an optical link, a photodetector based on graphene nano-ribbons is proposed and studied. A quantum transport model is presented for simulation of a graphene nano-ribbon (GNR) -based photo-transistor based on non-equilibrium Green’s function method. In the proposed model a...
